In term 4 week 1 Room 9 and 10 got a surprise parcel and know one knew what it was about. When we opened it, inside there were different letters from kids all across the world. In buddies we each got a letter and read it. We learnt about what they eat, wear, and do after, during and before school. Then the teachers decided in our buddies we were going to make a DLO (Digital learning object) about that country. We had to include the flag, The country and its capital, A special food they eat, A special clothing they wear, A special holiday and another interesting fact about that country.
I learnt how to add audio onto slides with a cool app called Cloud audio recorder. I also learnt how to link sites to images on slides so if you click it it'll take you somewhere about the image. You can link things on images by going on the thing you want to link then copy and pasting the words in the search bar, then you click the image and then Ctrl K and Ctrl V and apply it!
I found it easy to use the voice recorder and make sure every word was clear so the person listening can understand everything I was saying. I also found it easy to look for information on google to give the reader more information about the country.
In the beginning I found it challenging to find a good video to link onto our special holiday for the country. Me and my partner looked through a lot of videos until we finally found one that we thought was good. Then we were having trouble on how to link it to the image. Once we had found out we instantly did it because it turned out to be so easy! Another thing that was hard was trying to fit all of the images and audio onto one slide so it didn't look to packed.
I really enjoyed finding interesting facts with my partner, It made it so much easier with two brains! And i enjoyed using Cloud audio recorder and learning how to use it and attach my voice onto slides.
Next time I might have to add more information into the recordings so the reader or listener would learn more information about Spain and their culture. Also next time I might try and add more information to teach the reader more about this amazing country!
